Frequently Asked Questions

To which fabrics can Poli-Flex Premium be applied? Poli-Flex Premium is suitable for cotton, polyester/cotton and polyester/acrylic blends. It is not recommended for nylon or fabrics with a water-repellent coating. Poli-Flex Nylon is recommended for such materials.

How should I apply Poli-Flex Premium? Cut the design in mirror image with a plotter (recommended blade angle: 45°). Remove excess material (weeding) and place the flex film on the fabric. Press with a heat press at 160°C for 15 seconds at medium pressure (2.5 - 3.0 bar). Remove the PET liner hot; for neon colors (403, 440-443) remove the liner lukewarm. Then press again for 2 seconds with the same parameters.

Can I apply several layers of Poli-Flex Premium on top of each other? Yes, with the exception of colors 420 Gold Metallic, 430 Silver Metallic and the neon colors (403, 440-443), most colors of Poli-Flex Premium can be applied on top of each other. However, it is recommended to test this on a sample first.

How washable is Poli-Flex Premium? Poli-Flex Premium is washable up to 80°C and suitable for tumble drying and dry cleaning with perchloroethylene. Wash the textile inside out to extend the life of the print.

Is Poli-Flex Premium environmentally friendly? Yes, Poli-Flex Premium is ecologically tested and meets Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I. It contains no PVC, plasticizers or heavy metals, making it safe for both the user and the environment.

What colors are available for Poli-Flex Premium? Poli-Flex Premium is available in a wide range of colors, including standard, neon and metallic shades. For a full listing of available colors, please see the color chart and the web shop.

Can I use Poli-Flex Premium on polyester fabrics? Yes, Poli-Flex Premium can be used on polyester fabrics. However, please note that some polyester fabrics, such as soccer shirts and softshell jackets, contain special dyes that may migrate during the thermal transfer process. In such cases, the use of Poli-Flex Blockout Soft is recommended to prevent show-through.

What is the best way to store Poli-Flex Premium? Store Poli-Flex Premium in a dry place at room temperature, protected from direct sunlight and moisture. This helps maintain the quality and workability of the film.
