ASLAN UltraTack DFP07G is a gloss, polymeric PVC digital printing vinyl with an ultra-high tack grey adhesive. Engineered for “hard-to-stick” or low energy surfaces, it delivers permanent, high-coverage adhesion even on textured or coloured substrates while offering 7-year outdoor durability.
In signage and visual communication, one of the biggest challenges is achieving reliable adhesion on low surface energy (LSE) materials, textured substrates, or coloured surfaces. Standard vinyl films often fail to stick properly, peel at edges, or develop lifting over time. ASLAN UltraTack DFP07G is engineered to solve precisely that: its ultra-high tack, grey‑pigmented adhesive ensures strong grip even on apolar plastics, rough substrates, or dark/coloured backgrounds, providing excellent coverage and eliminating shadowing or show-through.
For service providers and installers, this means fewer call‑backs, better longevity, and confidence in applying graphics to surfaces that would normally be rejected. From industrial signage to curved surfaces, the product allows greater flexibility in project choice and scope.
Film / Face Material
The face layer is a polymeric PVC film, softened and calendered, with a glossy finish. Typical thickness is ~ 75 µm (3 mil)
Adhesive System
The adhesive is a high-strength, pressure-sensitive grey pigmented polyacrylate designed for extra strong adhesion. It is optimized for cold substrates, delivering initial tack even from 5 °C onward. Over time (after full cure) reach values near ~22 N/25 mm (after 1 week). The grey pigmentation helps mask coloured or dark substrates, improving visual appearance and coverage on high-contrast surfaces.
Release Liner / Backing
A double-sided PE-coated silicone paper liner (approx. 140 g/m²) ensures moisture stability, flatness, and consistent printability without wrinkling or liner curl.
Printability
UltraTack DFP07G supports a wide range of inks: solvent, eco‑solvent, latex, UV-curable, and also screen printing (with proper drying). Be cautious in under-cured inks which may impair adhesion.
Dimensional Stability & Durability
When applied to aluminium and stored at 70 °C, dimension change is minimal (~ –0.45 %) over 48 hours. Outdoor durability under vertical exposure is up to 7 years (in Central European climates). Service temperature range is –30 °C to +80 °C
Because of its exceptional adhesive power and broad ink compatibility, DFP07G is used in many signage and visual-graphics applications:
In many of these use cases, the installer may previously have bypassed such surfaces due to adhesion risk; DFP07G opens new possibilities.

Integration
This vinyl can be cut, trimmed, laminated (for extra protection), and installed using standard sign shop tools and techniques. Laminates such as ASLAN PremiumProtect SL 17 or SL 18 are recommended to extend life and protect against wear, UV, and abrasion.
UltraTack DFP07G is tailored with a grey-pigmented ultra-high tack adhesive that dramatically increases bonding strength on surfaces where standard adhesives struggle—such as textured, absorbent, low-energy, or coloured substrates. Its adhesive is calibrated for strong initial grab (even at low application temperatures) and long-term durability, thus enabling applications on surfaces normally deemed “non-stick” or challenging. In contrast, a standard film might lift, peel, or fail to bond altogether on such surfaces.
Yes — the film is compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, latex, UV-curable, and even screen printing inks, assuming proper ink-curing and drying. Insufficient drying may interfere with the adhesive, so it’s vital to allow full curing before lamination or application.
You can typically apply from +5 °C and above. Below that, the adhesive’s initial tack may weaken, compromising immediate adhesion. For cold environments, consider acclimatizing materials or delaying application until ambient temperature allows.
Yes — it can be applied wet. However, you may see a temporary “whitening” or haze in the adhesive layer, which usually fades over time (a few days) depending on weather conditions. Use of ASLAN TL10 transfer liquid is recommended to assist in sliding and achieving final placement.
While the film has good initial grab, full adhesive strength develops over time — approximately 1 week, reaching ~ 22 N/25 mm under ideal conditions. During that period, avoid excessive stress, especially near edges.
When installed vertically in a temperate climate, the film can last up to 7 years without significant degradation. In more extreme climates or horizontal exposure, effective lifespan may vary. For additional protection, pairing with a UV-resistant laminate is recommended.
Yes — the service temperature range is between –30 °C and +80 °C. Exposing beyond those limits (e.g. excessive heat or freezing) may degrade adhesive performance or cause delamination over time.
This is designed as a permanent, high-tack vinyl. While removal is possible, it will likely require heat, mechanical effort, and may leave adhesive residue—especially on porous or textured substrates. For applications needing removability, consider alternative media.
The substrate should be cleaned thoroughly — free from dust, oils, grease, and contaminants. Use a high-quality degreaser or a manufacturer-recommended cleaner before application. For surfaces with unknown coatings or treatments, conduct a small test patch to verify adhesion.
Store the film in a stable environment: 15–25 °C, relative humidity ~50–60%. Rolls should be kept upright or on hanging racks to avoid pressure marks or deformation. Shelf life is roughly 2 years from production—after which performance might slightly degrade.
